GFF identifies critical gaps in community health systems and addresses them through GAP Grants. In South Kivu, DRC, we responded to a measles outbreak by funding cold chains, mobile nurse vaccinators, motorcycles, and training, ensuring immunizations for tens of thousands of children and women.
Other GFF GAP Grants include funding mobile nurses, delivery subsidies for at-risk mothers, tri-motorcycle ambulances for transportation, and salary uplifts to retain key healthcare staff. These grants aim to address urgent health needs in underserved communities.
