Funding Partners

We are deeply grateful to a generous anonymous donor whose co-funding contribution directly multiplies our ability to serve the poorest and most underserved communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Child Relief International Foundation (CRI) was co-founded by Bonnie and Andrew Weiss with a mission to improve the lives of people living in extreme poverty. CRI focuses primarily on health in sub-Saharan Africa and funds organizations poised to have outsized impact. Their generous support has been instrumental in funding our Community Health Worker programs and key projects across Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We are proud to have CRI as a core collaborating foundation.

The DAK Foundation was founded in 2010 by Dave and Kerry Rickards to provide medical equipment and eyesight restoration to the poor. They provide new medical equipment like sterilizers, vital sign monitors, ultrasounds and fetal dopplers to qualified NGOs (including many of our partners).  We are proud to collaborate with the DAK Foundation.

Partners for Equity was established in 2015 by a consortium of Australian family foundations with deep experience in international giving. Their model is simple and powerful: 100 cents of every donor dollar goes directly to partners, with operating costs covered by the founding foundations. PFE backs outstanding local leaders in their early days, providing multi-year funding and hands-on support to help them grow. We are proud to have Partners for Equity as a co-funding partner, amplifying our impact across sub-Saharan Africa.

The Ripple Foundation is one of the founding family foundations behind Partners for Equity, supporting outstanding local leaders in developing countries with multi-year, untied funding. Their approach trusts partner organizations to direct resources where they are needed most.
